Autism Screening

Subject to availability the ACC offers an Autism screening service provided by a retired NHS neurodevelopmental diagnostician who is Autistic.

 

This is not a diagnostic assessment and we do not provide a diagnosis. We form a view on whether an individual is likely to be Autistic and provide advice in relation to them self identifying with this identity or seeking formal assessment.

 

We are able to provide a letter of recommendation that can be given to a GP to support referral for assessment and an open letter that can be shared with third parties concerning reasonable adjustments.

Screening is offered subject to availability.

We are currently only able to conduct screening for adults over 18 years of age.  

 

There is no charge for this service.
